MetaMask Extension login: Updated users’ guide every reader should know Online users are becoming impatient with traditional email/password registration processes. This article introduces a one-click cryptography-secure login flow using MetaMask Extension and all the data is stored on the applications’ back-end servers. Use of MetaMask Wallet for a One-click Login Flow The basic idea of this concept is that cryptographically, it is easy to prove the ownership of an account by signing a piece of data using a secret/private key. If users manage to sign a precise piece of data generated by MetaMask Wallet backend, then the backend team will consider it as the owner of that public address. Therefore, it is necessary to build a message signing-based authentication mechanism with the user’s public address as their identifier.
